Last week: Freedom of expression is in danger! Those who dare express opinions that do not conform to prevailing political thought are said to need “deprogramming,” should be ostracized or not hired. This “cancel culture” is led by an alliance of Big Tech, Big Media and major corporations in an effort to curry favor with the new controlling political power structure in Washington. The goal: Stifle conservative viewpoints! Twitter bans a president, Simon and Schuster cancels publication of a senator’s book, Amazon kills a conservative website and Facebook bans ads for a book on Abraham Lincoln. Sadly, civil libertarians remain silent!
