Last week: The nation’s two major teachers unions – the National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers – have endorsed teaching the Marxist-based critical race theory to elementary, middle and high school students. It professes that America is a racist country and whites are racist oppressors of Black victims. Yet studies show that in math, science and reading, China ranked no. 1 and the United States no. 25. One would think that the nations’ top teachers organizations would be focused on improving these statistics — especially on narrowing the education gap between Black and white students — not partisan, racially divisive political advocacy!
